Payment Options & Troubleshooting
Tickets to Our Social Times events can be bought with a normal credit or debit card via each event website. We cannot currently take payments over the phone, but please contact us if you are having problems paying via the website. In certain circumstances we can issue an invoice for tickets. Full payment is required prior to the event date.
Common payment problems and solutions:
Card not accepted - Paypal and Google Checkout sometimes reject credit cards for no apparent reason. This often happens with corporate cards that are registered outside the payment recipient country. Unfortunately all we can do it this situation is suggest you use a personal card and claim it on expenses.
No Paypal or Google Checkout account - You don’t need a Paypal or Google checkout account to pay for your ticket. Both services accept straight credit and debit card payments. The non-account option on Paypal is on the left of the Paypal screen. On Google Checkout, if you are already signed in, you need to select the “Sign in using another account” option, and it will show the straight credit card option.
Site crashed – Sometimes our site can crash (it happens!), In this instance we apologies and ask you to try again.
Need an invoice - Once you’ve paid for your ticket, you will receive an email confirmation which includes your payment details, plus our address and VAT details. If you need us to invoice you prior to payment, contact us.
